BIOGRAPHY

former princess turned daywalking cannibalistic vampire via a witch's failed curse, estelle is capable of controlling monsters and monstrous creatures (sans religious beings.) one of the first of her kind, she has struggled over the centuries to come to terms with her existence, but― make no mistake― despite her complex feelings towards her very being, she makes the most of it. she's made quite the name for herself, becoming infamous amongst her peers and other other vampires.she is nothing if not a survivor. she has a strong sense of self preservation. she’s self-centered to her core. she’s arrogant, brazen, and thinks she’s all that and more. she has feelings, sure— she’s sensitive, she’s capable of being hurt, but she’s one of those “hurt people will hurt people” types. she’s somewhat irredeemable, constantly screwing people over and ruining their lives, manipulating them and stringing them along and bending them to her will.while estelle expects manners, they only come to her in the form of hierarchical structures. she wants people and things she views as beneath her to respond accordingly. she is prejudiced in many ways. she has a preconceived idea of perfection, so she can often be seen adjusting and fixing things around her.she doesn’t seem to realize when she is being a sadist or when she is being cruel. it comes naturally to her. people can’t make estelle realize what she’s done wrong. it’s far too ingrained into her behavior. she also has a victim mentality when her behavior is called out.obsessive when she wants to be, estelle will find a target and focus on it. it surprises her when people don’t like her, despite that it happens often. she thinks everyone should fall to her feet and worship her. it's hard to say what inspires her actions during this time as they can range anywhere from soft to cruel. either way, she she's possessive and likes to think she has ownership over them.estelle will display push-pull behavior when it comes to intimacy... while she extends a hand towards affection, she will also pull away from it. she will opt to leave before being left. she's not the best at communication and making her realize this is quite difficult. expecting tact from her is like drawing blood from a stone.now, is estelle aware she's not a good person? yes and no. she has a certain level of cognitive dissonance here. there's no correcting estelle's behavior. she's too argumentative, but she doesn't pretend to be a saint. it's safe to say that this has caused some internal conflict. she's prone to things such as paranoia, insecurity, and self-sabotage when she feels like she has a good thing going. it's hard to reach purity when she feels like she doesn't deserve it.on her best days, estelle is a social butterfly. she gets through crowds and navigates the world just fine. she can fake kindness; albeit, venom will occasionally slip through. she's even playful when she wants to be. she's surprisingly helpful and generous underneath it all. usually, however, estelle is sitting somewhere in between all of the wreckage of her emotional dysfunction. she's rude, snippy, and can be difficult to get along with. she's not afraid to offend others, but she will bite her tongue if she sees that it doesn't benefit her.

  • blood memory: the ability to access memories and information stored in the blood of others.

PHYSIOLOGY

  • no heartbeat: while blood is in the body to keep the body fed, the heart does not beat. a heartbeat can be triggered under the right circumstances.

  • red eyes: eyes will sometimes flash red if willed to or when the smell of blood is too strong. red can darken while feeding.

  • cold skin: skin is cold to the touch due to lack of body temperature regulation.

  • longer tongue: the tongue becomes slightly longer, but not too much.

  • fangs: double fangs on the top, singular fangs on the bottom.

  • eye veins: exaggerated veins around the eyes when feeding.

  • pointy ears: ears become pointed when shifting.

  • claws: nails transform into claws.

TURNING ANOTHER

for a human to be turned, they must consume estelle's blood and die with it in their system. the turning process is painful as the body adjusts to its new vampire physiology. for the transformation to be complete, the newborn vampire must drink human blood within fourty-eight hours. newborn vampires are at a heightened state of strength, which will calm down and lessen over time.it should be mentioned that they will not receive all of the same powers as estelle and that they will be a weaker version of the creature that she is, and sometimes a sire bond can be formed. they can go on to create their own fledglings, who will be similar, if not the same, to them. sire bonds can continue to be formed throughout bloodlines.

HYBRIDS

for a werewolf to become a hybrid via estelle, they must be bitten during an important lunar event (a lunar eclipse, a solar eclipse, a blue moon, or a supermoon). again, the transformation process will be painful as the body becomes adjusted to its new physiology. while the hybrid will not sustain all of estelle's powers, it will be physically stronger than her and she will consider it a natural foe and an intimidating force.

SIRE BONDS

  • authority: the ability to give orders, make decisions, and enforce obedience over the sired.

  • tracking: detection of the sired through supernatural surveillance.

  • command inducement: the ability to compel and command the sired to follow orders regardless of what it is.

  • entity calling: the ability to call forth the sired from any location for assistance.

  • genetic telepathy: the ability to communicate with the sired through a telepathic link.

  • the gift of ultimate release: the ability to free the sired of their sire bond.

HYBRID NOTES

  • passing the change: hybrids cannot make other hybrids. they give up passing the curse and the bite once they accept the hybrid transformation.

  • sustenance: hybrids must feed on blood or meat.

  • full moon and bloodlust: hybrids are bound by both the full moon and bloodlust.

  • sire bonds: hybrids are capable of forming sire bonds.

PROTECTION

  • starvation: will slow her down, then send her into a feral state of vampiric rage.

  • blood of the sick: tastes bad, but won't do anything to her besides annoy her.

  • alcohol and drugs: has an effect on her mental state, especially the supernatural kind.

  • poison: her body doesn't have a natural defense against poison, so this will slow her down.

  • decapitation: decapitation will slow her down, but her body will roam for her head.

  • stakes: regular wooden stakes will do little to nothing to slow her down or stop her.

  • garlic: this does nothing, but it does have a strong smell that might annoy her.

  • sunlight: sunlight has no effect on her, she can walk just fine in the sun.

  • dismemberment: the body will find itself and put itself back together.

  • drowning: this is ineffective, as she does not need oxygen to live.

  • heart removal: will slow her down, but it will also grow back.

  • fire: fire will slow her down, but the body will regenerate.

  • blood of the long dead: can cause temporary paralysis.

  • religious items: religious items have no effect on her.

  • werewolf bite: will cause supernatural sickness.

  • magic: she is susceptible to powerful witches.

  • vervain: can stop her compulsion in humans.

  • invitation: she doesn't need to be invited in.

  • guns and knives: she'll find this laughable.

  • silver: this can hurt her, but it's not fatal.

  • mirror: she has a reflection.

  • iron: can immobilize her.

  • cure: there is no cure.

HUMAN FOOD

estelle can consume most foods, as long as it is coupled with some kind of blood or meat, with the exception of alcoholic substances being able to be consumed on their own. food eaten on its own has no nutritional value and can make her sick. since her body has no natural defense against poison, alcohol will effect her, but it's more effective when coupled together with blood.

PREJUDICE

estelle harbors a deep resentment for self proclaimed witches and simply looks down on werewolves. expect awful commentary, such as demands for witches to be burned at the stake and demeaning remarks likening werewolves to dogs.not exactly a prejudice, but somewhat of a phobia― because estelle's powers are limited towards religious entities, she tends to stay away from them or risk being blindsided by them. she doesn't like the unpredictability they bring to her life.it should also be known that she has a very strict prejudice and strong hatred towards the church; therefore, unless she decides to make an exception, expect blasphemy and sacrilegious themes when christianity is mentioned.

BLOOD BETWEEN VAMPIRES

the sharing of blood between two vampires is a deeply intimate and very personal act, often done to establish a strong connection. it can also be recognized as a substitute for sexual intimacy. while it can provide nourishment, it can also be addictive. at least on her end of things.

HOW TO KILL ESTELLE?

know that estelle can only be killed with a wooden stake from the saint helena olive tree, which is recently extinct. while there is one in existence in my lore and it is enchanted to not burn, your character shall not have access to it... unless, of course, you have some sort of character that is capable of bending the laws and rules of reality and wiping her out of existence, she cannot die.notes: if you want to discuss a plot where estelle dies, you will have to dm me about this!

CHARACTER DAMAGE

given that estelle is effectively immortal, i don't care what your character does to her. i mean, don't just go for pure brutality out of nowhere and for no reason, but know that the option is there and your character doesn't have to hold back. i don't expect you to soften or dampen your writing or your muse for me.* note: that said, if extreme gore is to come up, i would appreciate a warning. i won't die or pitch a fit without one, but it is still appreciated. i consider it a common courtesy.

CANON

a princess living in her high tower, estelle’s failure to become a queen stems from falling in love with a knight who was actually a woman. she became bitter about losing the throne, and their romance fell apart soon after. still, her knight remained loyal to her, even when she fell victim to a horrible curse from a witch.while initially a curse on its own, the curse got out of control and became something much more destructive. it was only meant to be a bloodline curse earned by her father’s willingness to wage reckless wars, but ended up making a monster out of her. it became worse from there as an attempt was made to reverse the spell. both her and her knight were turned into cannibalistic creatures that can only be sustained by blood. estelle grew cold towards her knight over the years as they moved around and she eventually abandoned her.now, estelle has made her way around the supernatural world once or twice. she’s got friends in high places everywhere she goes. if she doesn’t, she can always make a call to fix that. being a millennials old vampire has its perks.

MODERN HUMAN AU / ROCKSTAR VERSE

somewhere on their first world tour, the hit pop punk band ‘damn these vampires’ is making a name for themselves by selling out shows worldwide. with estelle as the lead singer and her friends as her bandmates, she left los angeles behind to travel the world and see things she’s never seen before. it’s a dream come true, but there’s one small setback: media and tabloids. they’ll stop at nothing to drag these new sensations down. it doesn’t help that the band is known for being opinionated and answering strongly to trouble that comes their way. things can get pretty bad, pretty fast. it’s all a matter of finding balance between drugs, sex, and rock n’ roll.

POWERSCALING

it's a pretty valid question to ask at this point: how does estelle's powers interact with certain characters' powers in these universes. i'll tell you what she's not. while she might be able to put up a good fight against them: no, she's not more powerful than the volturi when combined together and certainly not the vampire lestat or tribrids (although, i would argue she might be able to compel the latter.) unfortunately, for the vampires of true blood and sinners, she is stronger than all of them.

estelle is a shippable character. that's not to say that she's a romantic, but i do appreciate exploring romance with her. know that if we do end up shipping, she'll always have intensely complex feelings towards your muse. she doesn't know how to register a crush without being angry about it. she doesn't know how to recognize feelings without going into fight or flight.be aware that, when presenting your muse for a romantic relationship with estelle, it'll be a long road of emotional issues. she's insecure, she's jealous, self-sabotages, she's possessive, and she's prone to volatile and angry outbursts. she's also just not a nice person. that's not going to be good for your muse's mental health, but― if you like angst― by all means, message me and we can plot something.
